The Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra isan Orthodox monastery in Svyatogorsk, Donetsk region. It is located on the high right bank of the Severskiy Donets, in the area, which is called the Holy Mountains. Apart from elevated structures, there are some chalk caves on the territory of the monastery. The relics of Saint John the Anchorite of Svyatogorskare kept in the lavra. The first monks settled in the Holy Mountains in the 14th or 15th centuries.
